Materials needed: Artificial evergreen wreath, 5 match boxes, tin foil, thin ribbon, thick gold ribbon, 5 small baubles, glitter, glue, gold ribbon and scissors.

Miniature gifts

Wrap tin foil around the match boxes and tie with the thin ribbon (the ribbon can be any colour).

Decorative baubles

Glue the thin ribbon around the baubles. Apply glue and sprinkle with the glitter, shaking off the excess.

Decorating the wreath

Make a big bow using the ribbon and glue it onto the wreath. Apply small dollops of glue to the wreath and sprinkle on the glitter. Now glue on your small baubles and miniature gifts. Tie a loop using the thin ribbon and glue to the back of the wreath. You are now ready to hang it from your door.

Other ideas

Make lots of small ribbons and glue them to the wreath.

Glue on small toys such as: key rings, pencils, miniature dolls/cars. You can guarantee no one else will have a wreath like this one. Tie string around it and hang sweets and candy canes from it. Let your friends pick from it every time they come round.
